The Charger and the Miller

Once, an old charger was sent to work in a mill because he was no longer fit for battle. Instead of fighting, he had to grind grain all day. The charger was sad and remembered his past days of war. He said to the miller,"I used to fight in battles. I was covered in armor from head to tail, and a groom took care of me." Now, he wondered why he would choose the mill over fighting.

The miller listened patiently and said,"Don't dwell on the past. It is normal for people to go through good and bad times in life." This story shows that life often has changes, and everyone must accept these ups and downs.
