Graded stories and dictation come from public sources such as TED, VOA, BBC, NASA, Apple Newsroom, Project Gutenberg, Wikipedia, and MusicBrainz. Glossaries come from ECDICT and Wiktionary. Please respect each source’s license.

AI Q&A uses the English Reading Tutor Skill: it starts from the current article or dictation sentence and teaches the word, usage, collocations, and background. Question correction uses the English Correction Skill, based on english-coach and english-proofreading. It fixes how you asked, not the article. After-lesson writing review uses the same correction skill, plus writing-coach, to fix errors and show more natural ways to write the same idea.
Technology
The site is Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui. Sign-in uses Google first, with email as a second option (next-auth). Word-level alignment uses Whisper. The dictionary is local ECDICT, with Free Dictionary as a complement. AI answers go through a model API.
