A cat caught a cock. The cat looked for a good reason to eat him.

The cat blamed the cock for waking people. He said the cock crowed at night and kept people from sleep.

The cock defended himself. He said he did this for the good of people, so they would wake up in time to work.

The cat replied,"Even with many good excuses, I will still eat you." Then he ate him.
